An icon of deli food, this place is always packed and sometimes a bit chaotic. We’re diehards, though, particularly for breakfast. Other than that, mile-high deli sandwiches rule and chicken in the pot---chock-full of overstuffed kreplach and plump matzoh balls---is enough to feed two or three, depending on your appetite. The décor isn’t particularly appealing, but there’s nothing quite like sliding into one of the oversized turquoise vinyl booths and going to work on your favorite comfort food.
