New Orleans' only vodka bar opened within the city's only Russian restaurant with a stock of 90 vodkas from Russia, the United States, The Netherlands, Denmark, Scotland, Estonia, France, Great Britain, Poland, Sweden, Canada and Finland. The exquisite caviar service draws from another impressive selection: imported caviars include beluga, osetra and sevruga, while hackleback, paddlefish, choupique, salmon and trout round out the domestics. Rasputin's dinner menu is more Russian-influenced than strictly Russian, offering borscht, quail salad, shashliks (kabobs), chicken Kiev and beef stroganoff. The restaurant's look is blood-drenched and moody, with dark maroon walls and candlelight.
