THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Rattlecan Restaurant Review:

Rattlecan is named for the slang term for a spray paint can, and chef Sammy DeMarco and designer Antonio Ballatore pay homage to their Manhattan Lower East Side roots with décor featuring graffiti created by top street artists. Further homage to the urban theme is found in repurposed skateboard serving trays, used for fry dipping sauces, which include chipotle mayo, truffle mayo and red wine aïoli. Gourmet burgers come in options of Angus beef, pulled pork, turkey, veggie and ahi. We recommend the namesake “Rattlecan,” with caramelized onions, bacon, cheese and pickle; and the "Crew," featuring ahi, Asian slaw, crisp wontons, avocado, wasabi mayo and pickled ginger. Nothing goes better with burgers than beer, and lovers of brew will appreciate a list of more than 40 craft beers, including several from local Joseph James and Tenaya Creek breweries. Numerous menu items are devoted to the pickle, such as dill pickle popcorn, fried pickles, pickled potato chips and the Rattlecan "Pickleback" --- a shot of Jameson with a pickle juice chaser that includes a ride on the giant mechanical pickle (similar to a bull ride). The desserts are tagged "Heaven Spots," and include sweet potato s’mores --- sweet potato fries, marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate chips.
