Red Hot & Blue Restaurant Review: When this barbecue place opened years ago, good barbecue---smoky, juicy, and done by the barbecue pros---was hard to come by. Thus this group of restaurants became an instant hit, and a ribs meal from here was almost worth its weight in gold. Times change, and as others brought the barbecue theme to the area, RH&B has suffered and several of its outlets have closed, a loss to its many fans. For one, they offer ribs cooked wet or dry, and for another, there’s always the background rhythm ’n blues music, Memphis style. We have loved the intense heat of their dry-rubbed ribs with a side of beans, and then call it a day with a serving of their banana pudding.
