THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Red Pearl Kitchen Restaurant Review:

Leave it to Tim and Liza Goodell to create an Asian restaurant so chic, hip and up-market that it practically deserves a velvet rope. The décor is artfully kitschy, with silk Chinese lanterns, little knickknacks scattered here and there and a large flat-screen TV on one wall. The menu features an assortment of little dishes and large plates. Choices are eclectic, ranging from Shanghai-style dumplings to Chinese five-spice pork to pad thai. There's even sushi---nigiri or cut rolls. Unfortunately, we find the portions of prepared food meager, and the service can come with attitude. The ambience is swanky and the crowd is sexy, so more than anything else, we recommend this place as an early evening cocktail spot.
