This expansive theme-house---stretched across the south end of the glorious Union Station---is the place to go if you dream of nights on Bourbon Street. The place celebrates all things New Orleans, from the food to the fun. It's the Crescent City at elevation. Jambalaya and shrimp Creole are popular standards along with the namesake blackened redfish and other bayou treats. These spicy offerings come with the expected red beans and rice. You'll also find plates of burgers and fries and sandwiches just right for the youngsters. If you like a meal at, say, Bennigan's, the food here will satisfy. Thursday through Saturday the house ups the ante with live blues, jazz and R & B from some of the area's best bands. When the packed bars and canned music of LoDo become too much, we come here for a booth, a shot and a slice of the Big Easy.
