RedRocks Firebrick Pizzeria Restaurant Review: RedRocks resides in a converted stone house just a few short strides from busy 14th Street NW. As for the Neapolitan pizzas, the kitchen anoints pies with the likes of tomato sauce, fresh garlic, pepperoni, cheese, basil pesto and sausage. The only toppings that sidestep the usual are chicken and broccolini, but even here, the flavors don’t have enough oomph for a second order. The crust rates a thumbs-up, for the kitchen staff makes it fresh daily and never chills it, so what you get is the fully developed flavor. If pizza doesn’t intrigue you, try one of the calzones, or order the burrata di bufala with arugula, cherry tomatoes and house-made bread. Other locations.
