Relais de la Poste Restaurant Review: If you want to discover the real cuisine of the Landes, pay a visit to the Coussau family's restaurant, located on the edge of the pine forest. The chef serves the best confit imaginable with pommes cocotte cooked in goose fat: a sinful experience! Equally tasty are the wood pieon with cèpes, and the fresh lamprey eel with leeks. If you really want to overindulge, try the country ham. Excellent Southwestern wines, not all of them as expensive as the Madiran or the Tursan.
