Reserve Restaurant Review:

You wouldn’t know it from the outside. You wouldn’t even know it from the inside. But this wine bar, located in Murray Hill, has a menu loaded with above-average Thai food. Yes, a Thai wine bar. But don’t expect any Thai wine to show up on the wine list; instead, there’s a thoughtful selection that spans the globe (with many affordable options by the glass). And many wines have been selected for their harmonious pairings with Thai cuisine. An Argentine Malbec, for example, complements the massaman beef curry. The food menu has a few standouts: chicken pâté is served with sliced banana and whole-wheat crackers, a nice union; smoked salmon deviled eggs are sprinkled with Thai spice and dribbled with lime juice; flatbread pizzas come with knock-your-socks-off toppings like tom yum (which is a Thai soup) and green curry.
