Restaurant Sent Sovi Restaurant Review: This restaurant paved the way for modern French food in the area, long the center of classic French venues. Executive chef Josiah Slone maintains the standards of freshness and innovation for which Sent Sovi became known under former executive chef David Kinch. His contemporary, French-inspired creations are made from the finest local meat and produce available. The tasting menu allows you to sample starters such as foie gras, or balsamic-baked onion with jalapeño Brie. We recommend the sumptuous roasted pork tenderloin entrée, served on a bed of horseradish mashed potatoes with a blueberry demi-glace. Wine pairings are available, with selections that nicely highlight nearby Santa Cruz wineries.
