Restaurant Sent Sovi Restaurant Review

: This restaurant paved the way for modern French food in the area, long the center of classic French venues. Executive chef Josiah Slone maintains the standards of freshness and innovation for which Sent Sovi became known under former executive chef David Kinch. Slone's contemporary, "fauxlonial" creations include stir-fried rack of lamb, duck confit and vadouvan. In addition to the regular menu, Sent Sovi offers three- and four-course prix fixe menus as well as a personalized tasting menu with 48 hours' notice. Wine pairings are available, mostly French and Californian, with some selections from nearby Santa Cruz Mountains wineries. A wine lounge at the rear of the restaurant offers wine flights and small plates, such as savoury gruyère cupcakes, short rib empanadas and Valrhona chocolate s’mores sliders.
