Restaurant Xavier Mathieu Restaurant Review: The enticing cooking of Xavier Mathieu, chockfull of ideas, is staged in a country-style dining room replete with Louis XIII chairs, wall tapestries and white upholstery. He pulls delicious surprises out of his bag at every turn. Don't worry, there are also more conventional selections. Some dishes include smoked asparagus mille-feuille; warm scallops with carrot and peanut purée; Breton lobster with lemon grass, spiced coconut milk, and celery cannelloni; and beef glazed with juniper berries.
