This upstate New Yorker first learned to cook from his mom, started working in a restaurant at age 14, and knew he had found his career path. Studying directly under Madeleine Kamman, Gary Danko learned the importance of using high-quality, fresh ingredients. At his eponymous restaurant, Danko stays true to this philosophy, pouring his heart and vision into the ever-evolving, refined home-cooked dining experience.
