It would have been easy for Michael Mina's restaurant to simply rely on its look to make an impression. Fortunately, Mina’s creativity and determined passion for cooking assures that any dining experience here is much more about the food (with its unexpected flavor combinations that come in three steps per course) than the admittedly gorgeous environs.
