The Rib Room Restaurant Review: Although a steakhouse is a classic dining choice, The Rib Room at Jumeirah Emirates Towers reinvents itself to stay ahead of the trend. The very masculine-looking restaurant’s sleek interiors and mahogany walls prepare patrons for the hearty eating ahead. From the substantial business lunch to the six-course chef’s table meal and even a Saturday Roast option, the venue offers ample variety. Popular among starters is the pan-seared foie gras alongside a fig pastilla and pine nut purée. With a menu full of steaks, ranging from grain-fed Australian to U.S. as well as Argentinean, making a decision is the most difficult part of the evening; the Wagyu “Stockyard” rib-eye is always a safe bet because of the even marbling. Seafood is available, too. The artisan cheese platter presents an alternative to a sweet dessert, but the warm chocolate fondant remains at the top of the possibilities.
