The Ricans Food Restaurant Review:
Many New Yorkers bemoan the dearth of authentic Puerto Rican cuisine in LA, but Jose Miura has helped remedy the situation by opening his eatery The Ricans Food in the Arts District’s Smorgasburg food market on Sundays. His specialty is mofongo, a savory mélange of mashed green plantain, garlic, oil and spices, served hot with a variety of proteins ranging from pork carne frita, guava chicken, steak or jackfruit guisado. Also find tostones, empanadas, burritos, and a pork burger.
