Informally known as Partner's Bistro or Rick's Place, this local treasure is nowhere near as snooty or pricey as you might guess. In spite of the exclusive location, Hunt Club-esque setting and impressive menu, Rick's keeps the vibe down-to-earth. Ditto for the prices. Menu standouts include house-smoked salmon, homemade ravioli in a rich Gorgonzola sauce, the signature Pittsburgh-style filet served with macaroni and cheese, and boeuf bourguignon. If the weather permits, eat on the lovely, leafy terrace. If the server asks if you want the soufflé, just say yes---the chocolate espresso wonder comes dripping with dark chocolate sauce and a large scoop of vanilla ice cream.
