Rigolo Restaurant Review

: Laurel Village is home to yet another boulangerie by Pascal Rigo who also owns, among others, Bay Breads, Boulange de Polk and Cortez. Front and center along the blonde wood counters are about a dozen French pastries. In the morning the smell of pain au chocolat, croissants and fresh, strong coffee are enough to draw anyone in off California Street. The family-friendly spot, with its French bistro tables and Parisian café chaises, also offers a full menu of hearty lunch and dinner options. Signature baker's pizzas are offered with three types of crust (country-style, whole grain and rye) and an array of toppings like prosciutto, spinach, tomato and baked eggs. Other nibbles include croque monsieurs, niçoise salads, homemade pasta dishes and quiches.
