THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Rio Churrascaria Restaurant Review: A paradise for football players, Atkins dieters, and carnivores with healthy appetites, Rio is a typical Brazilian steakhouse. As you sit at your table and watch gaucho-clad waiters bearing large skewers of rotisserie-roasted meats circulate through the room, it's tempting to skip the salad bar that precedes the meat and flag one of them down. If you do, though, you'll miss out on a deluxe spread that includes smoked salmon, fresh hearts of palm and cheese-stuffed cherry peppers. Afterwards, you'll have plenty of time to indulge in the dozen or so carnivorous delights. If you don't have room to sample them all, the top sirloin, pork ribs and linguiça (Brazilian sausages) are all winners. But whatever you do, don't miss the picanha, a cut of beef that is a Brazilian specialty and comes out especially tasty when cooked this way.
