THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Ripple Inn Restaurant Review:
The Ripple Inn has added new life to the Broad Ripple dining scene with its menu that suits discerning palates across generations. From the bouillabaisse, generously seasoned and abundantly filled with shrimp, mussels, squid and fish, to the truffle filet of beef sandwich or Ripple burger heaped with caramelized onion and bacon jam, this restaurant rightfully draws the crowds. Although Ripple skins, creatively topped with duck confit or lobster in crème fraîche sauce, are popular starters, it’s the chile-citrus mussels and lobster bisque that got (and maintained) our attention. It’s easy to tell this building has a historic past, especially when venturing upstairs to the lounge, where a DJ keeps the place rocking. Local artwork brightens the walls and anxious servers, making a job of keeping diners happy, lend an inviting, upscale warmth that causes guests to linger over dessert and after-dinner drinks.
