 There’s nothing better that watching the sunset along the St. John’s River and over Jacksonville’s sparkling city skyline. At River City, you get those views with your brew and meal, and in this case, both are globally inspired. The beer is made from a combination of the finest English and German two-rowed malted barley, fresh hops from the Pacific Northwest, purified water and select brewer's yeast. The results are fresh and refreshing---try the hoppy golden Jackson Pale Ale, the straw-colored Pilsner Jag Light, the malty chestnut Red Rooster Ale, and the dark full-bodied Riptide Porter. The eclectic fare ranges from Italian pastas to low country seafood like crispy fried gator tail. Completing the world entrée tour, you can find miso tuna, curried mahi mahi or zesty RCBC gumbo. On the weekend, there’s live entertainment to be enjoyed indoors or outdoors on the deck.
