Roberto’s Italian Buffet offers a distinct and focused menu featuring popular as well as esoteric Italian dishes. At the antipasto bar, find lush eggplant caponata (the savory Sicilian vegetable relish), marinated olives, cured meats and more. Bread goes beyond the typical renditions to include loaves of semolina, squares of focaccia and spiky breadsticks perfect for dipping in fruity olive oil. Among the hot entrées are mussels al vino blanco, steaming in their savory broth; tilapia oreganata fragrant with an herbal bouquet; and pastas such as linguine with tomato or Alfredo sauce and meatballs della nonna. Margherita and salamino flatbread pizzas are tempting, too. The dining room is beautifully appointed and brightly colored, and, best of all, affords striking ocean views.
