With the same menu as its sister restaurant in Paso Robles, Robert’s serves up classic dishes with fun, fresh twists. Bacon-wrapped scallops are drizzled with a blood orange reduction, a wedge salad has caramelized onions and a chipotle-buttermilk dressing, and the “beef stroganoff” is made with braised short ribs over pappardelle. Desserts include a carrot cake with pistachios and usually something featuring ice cream. The all-local wine list has several by-the-glass options, as well as library selections. Enjoy a table in the stylish, high-ceiling dining room, or relax on the enclosed streetside patio.
