Roc Restaurant Review: In trendsetting TriBeCa, Roc is a bit of a throwback to mama's Italian cooking. Housed in an appropriately hip vintage building, the menu is decidedly old-fashioned with dishes like veal Milanese, lamb chops, fried calamari and even spaghetti and meatballs as a weekly special. Home-style food, though, doesn't mean home-style prices: Those are more in line with the chic neighborhood. But the homey draw seems to be working because rock is often filled with equally chic diners. |
