Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery Restaurant Review: Located across from the W Hotel, this brewpub has demolished its former space and modernized its look complete with flat-screen TVs lining the walls, windows that open to patio dining and beer taps at some of the tables. Be sure to join the Mug Club if you plan to frequent this place regularly. It’s free to join and you get a 20-ounce mug of beer for the same price as a pint. The menu now includes 30 additions, such as the cedar plank pecan-crusted salmon topped with dill cream sauce, hazelnut-crusted chicken with sun-dried cherry sauce, and Cajun fish tacos with Cajun rémoulade, black beans and red ale rice. You can still find the traditional staples like the classic mac ‘n’ chicken and ball park pretzels served with jalapeño ranch dressing as well as a good variety of salads and sandwiches. Pair it up with a locally brewed red ale or specialty dark stout or porter for a good stop before or after a nearby show.
