Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery Restaurant Review: Despite Portland’s many homegrown brewpubs, this Boulder, Colorado-based chain has found plenty of success in its airy two-story location. Beer drinkers can play pool upstairs, hungry diners can chow down in the dining area, and small tykes can lounge in a highchair with the kids’ menu. The big folks' menu offers sandwiches, burgers, pizza and ribs, along with Southern- and Southwestern-influenced entrées such as chicken fried chicken, Creole jambalaya with shrimp and sausages, and chicken enchiladas. Microbrew fans can join the “Mug Club” for special rewards. For dessert, try a pint glass sundae created with espresso chip ice cream topped with stout hot fudge. |
