Tucked behind Trestle on Tenth, this Swiss-inspired sandwich spot and wine bar has only one sandwich on its menu, and it's a good one, arguably the best roast pork shoulder sandwich in New York City. The meat is immersed in a brine of sugar, molasses, salt and spices, treated with a spice rub and smoked using alder wood before being slow-roasted for three hours and served on a ciabatta roll. Anything from red onion to hot sauce can be added to liven up the flavors --- although none are required. Eat it in the secluded courtyard with a Sly Fox pilsner or share a charcuterie and cheese plate of air-dried speck and bündnerfleisch paired with Riesling from Mosel.
