THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Roggie's Restaurant Review:

Roggie's Brew & Grille, located near the eastern edge of the Boston College campus, has a laid-back collegiate atmosphere. More than 50 beers are on tap (available in 25-ounce mugs or pitchers), and the focus is on cheap pub grub. Sure, you can find the usual suspects, but Roggie's does it better: think pizza skins, garlic Parmesan chicken wings and chicken satay for appetizers, as well as burgers, calzones, pizzas and subs. We prefer the out-of-the-ordinary ethnic fare like lamb gyros, Cajun beef tip Alfredo, Sicilian pizza topped with prosciutto and beef souvlaki, not to mention tacos, chicken fajitas and steak quesadillas. Heartier dishes include a broiled seafood platter, chicken Parmesan and a 16-ounce grilled T-bone steak. Desserts, like baklava, chocolate cake or a slice of Reese's peanut butter cup pie, will satisfy any sweet tooth. While alternative rock is the soundtrack of choice, the music goes off and the TV comes alive when soccer is on; Roggie's has been known to open at all hours, even early in the morning, just to air European-league games.
