After packing in hipsters and celebs at the original Miami location, Rokbar transforms an old dive into one of Hollywood’s hottest lounges. Backed by super-rockers Tommy Lee and Dave Navarro, it does offer some of the best bar food in L.A., whether or not its rockin’ customers are even paying attention. Small, sharable plates created by chef Govind Armstrong (his home base of Table 8 and Rokbar are both part of the Meridian Entertainment restaurant group) include fish 'n' chips, pulled short ribs, fried baby chicken, a Kobe beef burger, and bread pudding made with Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
