Romano's Macaroni Grill Restaurant Review

: Romano's Macaroni Grill boasts an open kitchen, a bar and high-tops in one discrete corner, and a family- and date-friendly atmosphere. Starters include crispy artichoke potato cakes, pesto shrimp and avocado crostini, and lobster-stuffed clams. Popular entrées range from Pasta Milano with farfalle, roasted chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms and roasted-garlic cream sauce, to Antonio's beef rigatoni composed with braised beef sautéed with tomato sauce, caramelized onions and fresh basil. We also suggest the veal chops, pork chops and Chianti barbecued steak. Lemon passion citrus cake and Ghirardelli chocolate cake lead the dessert list. A number of sustainably produced wines are offered.

Worst restaurant experience I've had in the last 18 months

I have never been to a Macaroni Grill before my recent visit, so I'll state up front that it's quite possible that we ordered some of the worst items on the menu. Vast majority of the food was visually unattractive and/or below average in taste. Very poor service, food was not something I'd ever want to eat again. You'd be hard pressed to do worse going anywhere else, and that's exactly what I recommend you do.
