 When it opened in 2005, the Rooftop Bar ignited the downtown night scene, and although there is more competition now, nothing is hotter than this poolside bar at The Standard. It’s got potent cocktails, a killer view, and the crowd is young, hip and beautiful. Water beds covered by cherry red pod-like cabanas encircle the pool and the scene can get really wild. While food is probably not on most people’s minds, you can eat pretty well up here, with items like chicken curry wraps, Cuban sandwiches and Caesar salads.
