Room Service Restaurant Review

: Chic Room Service brings a sense of style to the Theater District, in both its setting and cuisine. With a beautiful décor and attractive clientele, coupled with lavish plates at reasonable prices, the place is busy late into the evening. A huge crystal chandelier dominates the distinctive room, which also has a design-forward bar, presenting a marked difference from the many cookie-cutter Thai restaurants that line Ninth Avenue. While many familiar Thai dishes like pad thai and chicken satay are on the menu, it’s the items that are tweaked to produce Room Service signatures that stand out, with their interesting spice combinations. Try the honey-glazed ribs with cherry wine and Bangkok spices, or the corn spring rolls in a plum saké dipping sauce, followed by spicy Thai basil noodles with either vegetarian or meat toppings. Cocktails are creative as is the Thai pumpkin flan for dessert.
