Roost Restaurant Review:

Chef Kevin Naderi blends seasonal ingredients and the flavors of the world, including the American South, Asia and the Middle East, at his 50-seat eatery in the heart of Montrose. But it’s also a neighborhood hangout, a place for residents to gather for happy hour and dinner. The menu changes every few weeks, but you can always expect recipes that bring out the best from Paulie’s pastas, Broken Arrow Ranch meats and fresh fish from Airline Seafood. You might find a starter of crostini smothered in sautéed chicken liver and creamy farmer’s cheese before sharing plates of honey-brined Texas quail and the famous fried cauliflower with miso dressing, a healthy treat. Round out the dinner with donut holes topped with coffee ice cream.
