THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Rose Tree Cottage Restaurant Review:

There is no more authentic a slice of Great Britain in Southern California than this charming tea garden and shop run by the distinguished Edmund Fry and his wife, Mary. You'll be treated like royalty---Edmund has indeed served royalty---at small tables topped with fine linen, Royal Doulton bone china and a basket of excellent scones with Devon cream. Finger sandwiches, sweets like the locally famous shortbread and a view of the rose garden through lacey curtains are all part of the delightful experience. You must make reservations a week in advance for tea at 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. The adjoining shop carries England's top gourmet food and tea lines, such as Whittard's of London, Fortnum & Mason, Taylor's, Yorkshire Gold and Jackson's of Piccadilly, as well as an array of books.
