Chef Roxsand Scocos is well known for her blending of the many flavors and ingredients from Hawaii, Asia and foods of the Americas. She is a leader in the organic, local harvest group of chefs who are constantly finding excellent sources of home grown organic. Try the Macs Goat in a Coat: goat cheese wrapped in thin sliced potatoes and baked with roasted local elephant garlic, baby arugula, pistachios and cumin vinaigrette, the African piri-piri or the potato-squash burro. The Chilean sea bass is outstanding, a must for seafood lovers. Make sure you order dessert: there are over 15 selections on RoxSands menu. You might want to share two, three or four with your guests. You will not be disappointed. If youre a vegetarian, this place is nirvana: nice selections with lots of taste. We liked the slow roast vegetable fusilli: roasted tomatoes, peppers, leeks, elephant garlic, eggplant and shaved Parmesan on organic arugula. This is just one of the examples of how Roxsand blends a cornucopia of flavors. RoxSands has a well-deserved, national reputation for excellence.
