Royal Palace Thai Restaurant Review: Royal Palace Thai's dining area is cleverly divided into smaller spaces, giving a sense of intimacy and fellowship. The kitchen cooks all items to order and will prepare dishes to accommodate special diets upon request; there are many vegetarian selections as well. Appetizers include steamed dumplings and marinated sautéed chicken. Seafood panang is a combination of scampi, red snapper, scallops and calamari, broiled with mixed vegetables, and topped with panang (coconut-flavored) sauce. Other typical Thai selections include meat salads and a variety of curries. Roast duck is stuffed and slowly cooked, then deboned, sliced and pan-fried with garlic, basil, chili peppers and mixed vegetables. Frogs' legs and a variety of lobster dishes expand the menu beyond expectations. There's also a sushi bar for patrons who like their fish fresh and fancy.
