RP Tracks Restaurant & Bar Restaurant Review: Perhaps best known for the barbecue-sauced tofu nachos, RP Tracks specializes in pub grub for hungry college kids. But the laid-back bar attracts a loyal following from all walks of life, students or not. The above-mentioned nachos are piled high with crispy, tangy fried tofu, black beans, sour cream and cheese. The tofu is also offered in burritos and in a Memphis-style ’cue sandwich with coleslaw. Although the kitchen cooks up a large selection of vegetarian and vegan menu items, meat is on the menu, too. Popular items include the RP Burger, made with a half-pound of Angus beef, and the grilled chicken Santa Fe. A side of sweet potato fries completes any meal. Wine selections are typical for inexpensive pub fare, but Tracks does boast a decent beer list. The massive roster of alcoholic shooters reminds customers that they are dining on a college campus (and they’re discounted when trains roll by on the nearby tracks). Saturday and Sunday brunch features Benedicts, burritos and breakfast sandwiches. Desserts include coconut praline icebox pie and brownie à la mode.
