RP Tracks Restaurant & Bar Restaurant Review: RP Tracks may be located on a college campus, but it caters to bar food lovers from across the city. Although this laidback grill offers a variety of meat-based entrées, the most popular menu item among vegetarians and meat eaters alike is the saucy barbecue tofu nachos piled high with crispy, tangy fried tofu, black beans, sour cream and cheese. The tofu is also offered in burritos and in a Memphis-style ’cue sandwich with coleslaw. Other popular items include the RP Burger, made with a half-pound of Angus beef, and the Jamaican jerk chicken burrito. A side of sweet potato fries completes any meal. Wine selections are typical for inexpensive pub fare, but Tracks does boast a decent beer list. The massive roster of alcoholic shooters, which are discounted every time a train rolls by, reminds customers that they are dining on a college campus. Desserts include coconut praline icebox pie and a brownie à la mode.
