For more than 25 years, locals have frequented midtown’s Rubicon for its brews and casual come-as-you-are brewhouse vibe. The menu features appetizers, salads, sandwiches and entrées, all at reasonable prices and with no pretense. Starters include pulled pork sliders, a giant soft pretzel with beer cheese sauce and barbecued chicken naan. Mains include the Midtown Mess chili burger, fish ‘n’ chips and a sausage sandwich featuring the sausage of the day. Wash it all down with a Monkey Knife Fight pale ale or Friend of the Devil Belgian blonde.
