Now you can get Ruby's diner food on your layover at LAX. Ruby's has become a major success story since it began selling hamburgers, fries and cherry Cokes in a '40s atmosphere from an old bait house on the end of the Balboa Pier. The original spot is still going strong, but Ruby's is now virtually everywhere from here to New York. The burgers are still good, but they also make huge salads, sandwiches, hot dogs, soups and chili.
