Russian Vodka Room Restaurant Review:

Russian Vodka Room invites you to spend an evening of merriment fueled by hearty Russian cuisine and vodka. With a staggeringly long menu of vodkas, which includes the restaurant’s own savory and sweet (and strong) infusions, this Theater District venue will transport you to the days of yore in Ukraine or Belarus. One may opt to sit at the bar or its surrounding tables in the front room, listening to a Russian pianist over the conversational din (much of which is in Russian), or reserve a table in the small back space where a caviar presentation feels as much at home as an order of pirozhki or kelbassy. Immerse yourself in the theme and try an assortment of appetizers like herring or kasha, followed by traditionally prepared beef Stroganoff or chicken schnitzel. Go for broke and order the osetra caviar with a chilled shot of Russian Standard. It’ll make you forget you ever thought Stolichnaya reigned supreme among vodkas. This place is loud and fun, with an “adjustment hour” starting at 6 p.m. and continuing until the wee hours.
