Saffron Cafe Restaurant Review

: Hidden a few steps from the edge of downtown is Saffron Cafe offering well-seasoned Moroccan cuisine. Steamed mussels in a creamy wine sauce or Moroccan eggplant spread prepare the palate for what's to come. Classic Moroccan stews (tajines) feature lamb or chicken slowly cooked with vegetables and often fruits in a conical ceramic pot, and are a must for first-timers. The medley of vegetables served over couscous is a prime vegetarian choice. If the dinner menu is too tempting, plan a lunch date to try the dishes you missed in the evening. The crisp and generous servings of baklava is a given for dessert.
