THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Saigon Kitchen Restaurant Review: THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED The dining room is fairly basic, but this Asian mainstay is redeemed by its first-rate Vietnamese dishes (with an occasional Chinese or Thai addition). Saigon Kitchen makes some of the best spring rolls in town---crisp, fresh and served with lots of leafy greens. The menu is vast, but if you spring for the salty squid, or the squid and black beans, you’ll be richly rewarded. In fact, the kitchen does wonderful things across the board with squid, scoring the meat to bring out its best texture and flavor. The range of chicken items is tops as well. And if the dish of crab, ginger and scallions is available, don’t think twice.
