 Salpicon Restaurant Review: This is a family affair: Priscila runs the kitchen and her husband, Vincent, runs the front of the house. And while many an upscale Mexican restaurant have come and gone over the years, this one forges on. We enjoy the inviting, stylish surroundings as well as the top-rate selection of tequilas and wines. But the real star of this show is the food. The restaurant prepares one of the best mole sauces in town (we like the Pueblan, in particular). When it comes to mains, we suggest the grilled pork chop with chorizo and potatoes over roasted tomato chipotle sauce. Try the seven-course tasting menu for a real treat. Desserts deliver, too, be it the flan, Mexican chocolate mousse or spicy lime-and-tequila sorbet infused with Serrano chilies.
