A real find just off Highway 101 in Atascadero, Salsitas is the type of Mexican seafood restaurant we’d expect to find in Mazatlan. Deliciously fresh fish and chicken are smothered in your choice of a garlic-butter sauce, a spicy red-chile sauce or the house special Veracruzano. The beef and pork-based caldillos (stews) are well-flavored. Homemade tortilla chips, as well as four distinctly different homemade salsas, are complimentary.
