This well-scrubbed pub conversion (run by the people behind the noteworthy Chiswick), is a welcome newcomer to London’s burgeoning clutch of good gastropubs. You could just come in for a drink at the bar, which serves ales and some decent wines, but it would be a shame to miss out on the food. The menu changes daily and includes simpler dishes (such as rib-eye steak with chips and horseradish, £25.50 for two) along with more ambitious fare that’s cooked to standards as high as you’d find in many a Modern European restaurant---with prices to match.
