The Salted Lime Restaurant Review:

The décor of this traditional Mexican restaurant is a mix of bright orange and red hues, plus faux candles and wood tables with comfortable padded chairs. The dining room is fronted by a wraparound bar, where specialty margaritas are not to be missed. Examples include the Cadillac with Cazadores Reposado, Combier, lime, agave nectar and Grand Marnier and the house margarita with Sauza Silver, Triple Sec, lime juice and fresh sour. To eat, consider starting with the bacon-wrapped shrimp stuffed with Oaxaca cheese and Tapatio ranch sauce --- they’re skewered and attractively presented in a teepee shape. Another appetizer, which is so large it could be a meal, is the carne asada fries --- a huge mound tossed with Parmesan, carne asada, jack and cheddar cheeses, jalapeños, sour cream and pico de gallo. The rest of the menu contains traditional items such as tacos, enchiladas, burritos and sizzling fajitas. The latter can come with chicken, carnitas, steak or shrimp. A few non-traditional dishes include chicken or pork chops marinated in a house-made chipotle honey sauce; T-bone steak served on a skillet with elote, rice and fajita peppers; and desserts such as pineapple flautas and Oreo churros stuffed with the popular cookie.
