THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Sam Seltzer's Steakhouse Restaurant Review:
There's something to be said for the expected. At Sam Seltzer's, patrons know what they're going to get---good steaks, a choice of traditional sides, an occasional surprise. The menu hallmark here is meat---steak and prime rib---as you might expect given the mini-herd of full-size plaster cow statues in the front yard. With four dining rooms in one of the busiest steakhouses in the Tampa Bay area, appetizers are somewhat typical: shrimp cocktail, chicken wings, mozzarella sticks. The most popular items include the 20-ounce prime rib and 16-ounce (or larger) steaks. Steak orders come with sides and are grill-cooked, often with a secret spice recipe. The menu also includes seafood and a few chicken or chops items. Other locations.
