Sammy's features a bright, breezy ambience. Among tapas are mini duck tacos topped with feta cheese and a creamy tomato-cilantro sauce. Imaginative salads include a Middle Eastern-inspired fattoush salad of romaine, Japanese cucumber, tomato, mint, toasted crackers, onion and parsley, with a pomegranate dressing. We like the lobster bisque laced with sherry. Try the oak-roasted salmon filet with Asian salad, and the chicken-tequila spinach fettuccine in a tequila-lime cream sauce. It’s pizza that’s king here, however, topped with the likes of garlic-marinated chicken or shrimp with sautéed mushrooms, sliced red onion and roast garlic sauce, and prosciutto with artichoke, green onions, garlic and Fontina. Splurge on Sammy’s "messy" ice cream sundae.
