You can get a good version at this friendly Thai Town spot that stays open until 4 a.m. They make first-rate rice biscuits bulging with chopped vegetables and served with a sweet-spicy sauce, but the real specialty is noodles. Rahd nah, a mountain of rice noodles with chicken, pork stomach and seafood, comes topped with a fried egg. Another justifiably popular option is the General’s Noodles, egg noodles blanketed with shrimp, barbecue pork, roasted duck and ground pork. It’s available in a soup, but ask for it dry, where the sprinkling of sugar really shines. To drink, go for a Thai iced tea or sweet longan juice. |
