THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Sanmi Sushi Restaurant Review:

Shoji screens separate the tables in the small, spare dining room where windows open onto a marina filled with expensive pleasure boats and a view of the bay. There’s no water view from the sushi bar, just the sight of Misao Sanmi and his chefs competently creating an array of sushi and sashimi. We’ve tasted exotica like raw squid topped with fermented soybean paste, grilled geoduck (giant clam) skewered and seasoned with red chili peppers and white tuna sashimi salad (barely seared white albacore slices on a nest of vinegar and soy dressed onion flecked with raw garlic). Terrific tempura or a sizzling chicken teriyaki platter will satisfy those craving a hot meal. Lunch entrées arrive with lots of welcome extras like miso soup, pickles, rice and seaweed salad. The lunchtime bento box is a delicious deal, combining sushi, fish and chicken with a bowl of udon.
