THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Saravanaa Bhavan Restaurant Review:

Saravanaa Bhavan's lunch buffet is a bit more expensive than many of its kind, but it’s extensive, and dosa, a thin rice-flour crêpe filled with curried potato, is included with the meal. Southeast Indian fare is the restaurant’s specialty, but some north Indian dishes also are offered, such as curried vegetables. Soups are warming and flavorful; chana masala floats whole chickpeas in a thin but well-spiced tomato-based sauce; and vegetables fill the samosas that are offered on the buffet as well as the menu. And don't miss the good raita and the first-rate chutneys (tomato especially). The food packs substantial heat, though it’s not excessive. Finish with the sweetened ground almonds cooked with saffron. A fairly ordinary selection of beer and wine leads us to prefer a cup of tea.
